Are there cameras at Bufi Preschool?
Yes, we do have security cameras on-site. They are used strictly for safety, internal and external monitoring.
Parents do not have access to live camera feeds in order to protect the privacy and safety of all children and staff. Privacy matters.
How will we know how our child is doing during the day?
From the moment of enrollment, an individual and private communication group is created exclusively between the child's parents and the school. Through this channel, we share relevant information about the child's day, important updates, and any necessary communications.
Communication is constant and direct, while always respecting classroom schedules and the educational focus of the day.
If parents would like to speak directly with the teachers, they may request a meeting at any time. Meetings are scheduled in advance to ensure a calm and appropriate setting, without interrupting the classroom routine.
What language is spoken at Bufi Preschool?
Bufi Preschool is a bilingual school where English and Spanish are spoken naturally throughout the day.
When children speak other languages, our staff makes an effort to learn key words and phrases to help each child feel safe, understood, and supported during their transition.
By 3 and 4 years of age, children begin to communicate comfortably in both English and Spanish. Children who graduate from our 4 and 5-year-old (VPK) program leave fully prepared in English, with the skills and confidence needed to successfully transition into more advanced schools.
What is your child-to-teacher ratio?
We maintain low child-to-teacher ratios to ensure individualized attention, safety, and meaningful teacher–child interactions. Our ratios are always below Florida state mandates, allowing teachers to focus on quality learning, guidance, and support for each child.
